We would like to share some of the comments and a few of the many postcards that our customers have
taken the trouble to send us from their trips around the world. There are also extracts from letters, e-mail &
feed-back forms.
As we need to protect the identity of our clients for reasons of confidentiality, chartered accountants
Messrs. Bryant & Co have independently verified all comments and quotes to ensure authenticity and
accuracy. Names have been abbreviated or obscured from scanned images.

"…A year ago I was diagnosed with breast cancer, which then necessitated having a mastectomy,
chemotherapy, radiotherapy and now a year of herceptin. As a Medical Professional too, I am well aware of
my diagnosis and possible prognosis, have faced it head on and life goes on as normal - busy!
I have a daughter, son-in-law and three grandchildren who live in America and because of my medical
condition was obviously not allowed to travel to the USA for Christmas 2005 as had been planned. I was heart
broken.
Having now completed my treatment, all but the Herceptin, the Oncology Consultant allowed me to travel to
the USA in September and I am returning for Christmas.
However, going to the USA particularly, I needed to have medical/travel insurance... ...It was also suggested to
me that I telephone a few other Insurance Companies to see how their quotes compared. I did as was
suggested.
I sat one Wednesday afternoon and telephoned about seven or eight companies and had to give up. Most of
these calls went through to 'call centres'. There was absolutely no sensitivity used in asking the questions
about my medical condition, they were like bullets being fired out of a gun, talk about being put through 'the
third degree', including the question 'have you been diagnosed as being terminally ill?' I was prepared for that
question but it was not what was asked but the way in which it was asked. Not one of these companies offered
me an 'excess' as part of the quote and they were all hundreds, (one company thousands), of pounds more
expensive than Medi Travelcover. Some companies would not even give me insurance cover. It is bad enough
having the diagnosis of cancer without being treated like an alien because of it.
I would like to say a huge thank you and cannot praise Medi Travelcover enough for all their help, the sensitive
way in which they deal with their clients, and the comprehensive service they offer....

"…After having been treated for lung cancer which was diagnosed in January 2006, I found it almost
impossible to obtain insurance cover at an affordable price. In one instance I was quoted £3000 which did not
include any excess insurance. For a much needed holiday in Spain, I felt this was astronomical. I don't think
that many Insurance Companies are sensitive enough to realise that having to endure cancer treatment is in
itself extremely stressful without being stigmatised as a result.
However, in Medi Travelcover, I found the staff very professional, sympathetic and extremely efficient in
dealing with all my needs. I did not have to wait long for an insurance quote and found that Medi Travelcover
offered more reasonable quotes than any other Companies I had tried to contact. A company which

"…Further to your recent letter, thank you, yes we did have an enjoyable holiday thanks to the fact that we
were able to get travel insurance cover for my husband's prostate cancer from Medi Travelcover.
I was relieved to find the company when searching for possible companies. I had had a couple of ridiculously
impossible quotes, one off the web, another by phone, far too high to even contemplate and yet neither had
really gone into my husband's case history. So I was particularly pleased that Medi Travelcover seemed to
treat each case individually.
I particularly felt the need to speak with someone understanding & considerate who was knowledgeable
rather than complete a form or answer an uninterested & bored voice on the phone. It helped that that person
knew of the possible operations a cancer sufferer might have had and the medication taken, and that she
explained the process of getting the consultant's report etc.
Unfortunately the consultant then went on holiday and attended a course so time was fast running out to get a
quote in time but once he had eventually completed the form & faxed it to your office, things really moved
quickly as you were able to get a quote the very next morning and phone me with it. We were so grateful that
you could do it so quickly & we were able to go on holiday with peace of mind should an emergency occur.
In fact none did & we had a superb and memorable holiday which we would not have done without the helpful
& efficient service offered by Medi Travelcover.
We would certainly recommend you and would use your services again.

my husband who has cancer.
Many insurances including my own yearly insurance co. 'Company A', just were not interested and most
conversations lasted one minute at the most. The worst was 'Company B' who demanded £2,395 to cover my
husband for a 10 days holiday. So it was like a breath of fresh air when Medi Travelcover actually listened to
me and dealt with my husbands case swiftly and within 3 working days everything was completed.
